A Fear of People
began in 2019 as a personal experiment to face social anxiety through photography. What started as a private practice of approaching strangers with a camera grew into a deeper study of fear, trust, and human connection. By 2022, it evolved into the Exposure Therapy workshops — a shared practice of using portraiture as a form of self-regulation and relational learning. The work continues as both an ongoing series and a teaching framework exploring presence, courage, and the psychology of encounter.
